Who needs Player Pass?
Any player who wants to issue challenges, join a team, or build a permanent competitive record. You can join a league and compete without Player Pass, but challenges and team features require it.
Is Player Pass separate from league fees?
Premium replaces the per-league $49.99 League Pass — join any league without it. Event entry fees and league dues set by your commissioner are separate: Pin & Paper tracks them, but that money goes directly to your commissioner.
Can I cancel Player Pass?
Yes. Player Pass is month-to-month. Cancel anytime from your account settings. Your competitive history is preserved even after cancellation.
When does league billing start?
Commissioners pay only when they open player registration. Build and configure your entire league for free — you're not charged until you're ready to launch.
Does my Player Pass let me join any league without a League Pass?
Yes. Premium waives the one-time $49.99 League Pass for every league you join. Commissioner-set dues and event entry fees remain between you and your commissioner.
How does payment collection work for leagues?
Pin & Paper tracks who has paid — it doesn't process payments. Commissioners collect dues directly (Venmo, Zelle, cash, etc.). Pin & Paper records the paid/unpaid ledger.
